Almost two months after their captivating turns on the world stage, two breakout stars of the Intervision Song Contest 2025—champion Đức Phúc of Vietnam and super-finalist Nastya Kravchenko of Belarus—have reunited in Vietnam, sparking excitement among fans and media in both countries.
The reunion was shared on Nastya Kravchenko's Instagram, where she shared a photo with the Vietnamese pop star, writing a heartfelt caption that highlighted their blossoming friendship:
"thank youuu for a wonderful day, for discovering new beautiful locations in Vietnam, and for your soul and big hurt"
A Friendship Born in Moscow
Đức Phúc and Nastya Kravchenko first crossed paths at the highly anticipated revival of the Intervision Song Contest, held in Moscow in September 2025. The competition brought together 23 nations, but it was the representatives of Vietnam and Belarus who formed a particularly close bond.
Đức Phúc, representing the host nation's closest ally, became the inaugural winner of the revived contest with his culturally rich performance of "Phù Đổng Thiên Vương" (The Heavenly King of Phu Dong). Nastya Kravchenko, representing Belarus, impressed audiences and the professional jury, securing a remarkable 6th place finish with her self-written song "Motylek" (Мотылёк, or "Moth"), which symbolized transformation and finding inner strength.
Their connection was noticeable even during the competition. In a post-contest interview with Russia's Sputnik news agency, both artists reflected on their "fated" friendship.
"Duyên": The Fated Connection
Speaking to Sputnik reporters, the singers described a meaningful synchronicity in their interactions, using the Vietnamese concept of "duyên," which implies a destined or fated connection.
Nastya Kravchenko noted the coincidences during the contest's organizational stages: "It was accidental but also very meaningful that we sat next to each other during the drawing. The organizers also often arranged for us to stand near each other. I think that is duyên."
She expressed hope that this meaningful connection would extend into their careers: "I hope in the future, maybe we will have a joint project. That would certainly be wonderful, because I believe that everything that happens in this world has a reason, it's all fate."
Đức Phúc was equally enthusiastic about his Belarusian friend, revealing he had been impressed by her talent before the show even started.
"Phúc knew Nastya even before the competition started," he shared. "Phúc was also very impressed with Nastya. Because this is a very small person, but incredibly talented, incredibly beautiful, and incredibly confident. That is something that Phúc is very impressed with Nastya from Belarus. I feel very happy to have such a beautiful friendship with Nastya, and a friendship that came from Intervision."
The heartwarming reunion in Vietnam serves as a testament to the core goal of the Intervision Song Contest 2025: to serve not just as a music competition, but as a "journey of connection" that brings different nations and cultures together through the universal language of music. Fans are now eagerly anticipating the possible musical collaboration that Nastya and Đức Phúc might create in the future.
