Brazil Confirms Participation for Intervision Song Contest 2026

Brazil has officially announced its intention to remain a permanent participant in the Intervision song contest, following the country's debut in the recently concluded competition.

According to TASS, the Brazilian Ambassador to Moscow, Sergio Rodrigues dos Santos, expressed his country's enthusiasm for the project and a commitment to return with even stronger performances in the years to come.

Ambitions for a Stronger Return

Ambassador dos Santos noted that Brazil was "very happy" to have successfully participated in the revived contest. He acknowledged that the delegation faced several logistical hurdles but emphasized that the support from Russian organizers and the government was "total" across all issues.

While describing Brazil’s entry as a "decent performance," the Ambassador signaled that the country is already looking at ways to improve. "We want to achieve more," dos Santos told TASS. "In the future, with better preparation on our side, we hope for a more active participation by Brazil in Intervision."

We are so happy Brazil stays committed to the contest and we can't wait for more.
