The 2025 Intervision Song Contest had barely wrapped in Moscow before Belarus seized the spotlight for 2026.
In a public confirmation during the 2025 final, commentators Vladimir Bogdan and Nikolai Sosin of the Belarusian national broadcaster (BTRK) announced live on air that Belarus will participate in the next edition of the contest.
The Intervision Song Contest 2026 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Belarus's immediate commitment to the Saudi-hosted event makes it the very first country confirmed for the 2026 lineup, cementing its central role in the contest's expansion outside of Russia.
