Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc, the winner of the Intervision Song Contest 2026, has announced his intent to compete once again in the contest's next edition, slated to be held in Saudi Arabia in 2026.
According to Tass, during his farewell ceremony, Phuc stated his preference for returning as a competitor rather than a jury member.
"If I have the opportunity, I would like to return to the Intervision stage as a contestant. <…> The 2026 competition will be held in Saudi Arabia. I could see that country, just as I saw Russia,"
The singer, who secured a victory in the revived 2025 competition, emphasized that he views Intervision as a crucial platform for cultural exchange and dialogue.
Everyone is expecting Du Phuc to perform the Grand Final of 2026 as the winner of the previous year, but could he go for a double win?
